Day-4 PlanetBase reults

So I used my plan and so far today it has worked I have doubled in colonists and am very excited. There are a lot of sandstorms and meteors so I built a telescope to see incoming dangers. Like I predicted food is always a problem and yet again it was today.
So since I was out of food I needed to make some key trades to keep alive. I would say food and power are you biggest enemy in the game. Lots of times there would be a sandstorm and my turbines would spin too fast to make any energy. I found that once you have been surviving for awhile your colonists become unhappy so to fix that I made a structure that I thought would never be necessary, which is a Bar. Once it was made it made a huge impact on the colony. In this game you have to sustain the oxygen and once you succeed with that you may begin expanding on your colony. I am three quarters of the way to 20 colonists. I have been trying to get milestones to play the harder levels but I am yet to even get one.

Day-4 PlanetBase-Plan

Today, the plan is to not rush anything. Take it one structure at a time and make sure all the essentials are made first and fully operational. Often with this game food is always a problem and if you are low on food trading is key, so I will try and make a good trade that benefits me. Today I am aiming for another 20 colonists.

Day-3 Review

For starters you need an Airlock, Oxygen generator but to have the oxygen generator work you need a water extractor and an energy generator. The key is when you start out do not make any structure bigger. You start small and maintain your resources and then you can expand. With crops I wanted to have wheat first because wheat is key to make other sources. Focus on one structure at a time because if you don't than all the workers will be spread out and not actually build anything.

This is my colony and I made a mistake of asking to build too many structures at one time.
This game is very time consuming and it can go south fast. I enjoy the game but once you run out of energy and watch all your colonists die of starvation, it is no longer fun because you must start again.

Day-2 Preview

So today, I played the tutorial and I have a bit of feedback.

The tutorial is very simple but it gives you the essentials you need to play the real game. The camera controls you use are WASD which lets you move forward and backward and QE is used to rotate the camera around.
In the game you start with 7 people and 2 robots. What you have to do is create structures and add components in those structures to make the colony function. To start you want to build an oxygen generator and a solar panel so your colonists have oxygen and energy to run the oxygen generator,.
Every time you create a building you must connect all buildings so your colonists can maneuver through all the buildings. Some key buildings you need to make are a Dorm because your colonists will get tired and need a place to sleep. You will also need a bio dome so you can grow crops and maintain a stable food supply for your colonist. Another key building is the sick bay where those who are sick have a place to heal. A mine is important because you need resources to expand your colony.

Although the tutorial makes you do everything in a specific way it gives you the knowledge you need about Planetbase. Unfortunately in the tutorial you do not get to make any decisions yourself.
Now I have finished the tutorial, now its time to play the real Planetbase

DAY-1 Reveal

To start off, I watched the tutorial and a walk through

Planet base seems to be another simulation game like 3rd world farmer and the goal is to create and maintain a stable environment/ community. There are 4 levels obviously one is harder than the other  and above are some of the colonists that may appear in your colony
In this game you will need to create a stable community, by building homes, finding oxygen, food, water and expanding so your community can grow

You must also survive natural disasters that may damage your community, After doing some research and watching some tutorials and videos I feel this game will be very tedious but worth it in the end. It may take time to get a stable colony but once you do the game will become more exciting. The atmosphere of all the planets seem very realistic and this game will be challenging

Here are some of the videos I used to understand the game

Friday Post

In this photo, I change the world settings to superflat to make it easier for building but to change it you must click single player once you have the option and create new world, and after you should see a 'more world option" and World type is at the top right of the screen.
In this photo, I began creating a spaceship and I also used it to show how I take screenshots.
In this photo, at the bottom right it confirms where my screenshot went. Instead of hitting "F2" i just hit the "print screen" button and it drops the screenshots directly into my dropbox for easier access.
In this photo, I finished my spaceship and to do so I made an equal shape for the base and built up to a certain height using quartz and red stained clay, after that I added the landing legs and added some fire to show that it has blasted off.I also added glass to make sure it has a bit of light.
After your minecraft creation has been built you must go to google photos and once there, there is a cloud with an arrow next to the search bar, after you click it you are able to download your photos into 1 album and view them

In this photo, I am at Picasa Web and it uses the album from Google photos and it is now at Picasa Web, Once you have found the correct album you click on the image of the album. After that you should see all your photos, once you see them click on the first one and underneath that photo it will say "Add Caption" and you add a caption for every single photo.
After you would share the album and embed it, You copy the link and post on your blog

Friday Post, April Fools!!!!

                                                          What I did...

-This week and a longtime ago before spring break, I have been animating  my face to match with a sound
-This animation takes A LOT of motion tweens for the jaw and for the eyebrows
-I had to find 3 sounds and make the face move to the sound so it looks like I am actually saying something
-It took the longest to create the first one but after that the other movements took no time at all cause its just a rinse and repeat thing
-First I had to go to photoshop and create a plain face so that way when i move my facial features there is just my skin tone behind it
- After I had to make symbols of almost every facial feature but I added some lizard eyes for fun
- After all your facial features are symbols you begin tweening some of the features you wish to move
-make sure you create a black square for the inside of your mouth
-Add sound and make the jaw move accordingly

                                                         Tips and Tricks...
- The tips and tricks are basically the same as the city
-but you rely on keyframes a lot more which is "f6"
- There are a lot of layers that go into this animation
